On November 13th, Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Zhang Jianming, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, accompanied by Wu Bin, Deputy Head of Minhang District, visited Awinic Shanghai headquarters for research.
Accompanied by Sun Hongjun, CEO of Awinic, Wu Jincheng and his team visited the working environment of Awinic and listened to Sun Hongjun’s introduction on IC research and development, talent cultivation, market trends, revenue and future long-term development strategic goals of Awinic.
Sun Hongjun said that Awinic will continue to actively grasp the development opportunities created by “Intelligent Manufacturing in China”, focusing on the local market while working on winning more global customers. When talking about Awinic's innovative strategies, Sun Hongjun pointed out that in the future, Awinic will absorb more talents, and at the same time increase investments in R&D, and contribute more to the “Intelligent Manufacturing in China”.
Wu Bin, Deputy Head of Minhang District, said that the People's Government of Minhang District will fully support the outstanding enterprises including Awinic by providing policy support and various supporting services needed by the companies.
Mr. Wu affirmed the scientific research achievements that Awinic has achieved in recent years and its corporate culture. He also believes that Awinic is a promising company with great potentials and is one of the targets that governments at all levels pay attention to and cultivate.
Mr. Wu said that he hopes that Awinic will seize the opportunities of the emerging markets of artificial intelligence, 5G, intelligent networked automotive technology and smart homes, and further gather talents, increase R&D investment, improve the technical level to lead the domestic IC industry.
