In order to implement the spirit of the Shanghai municipal party committee and municipal government's instructions on “accelerating the construction of a science and technology innovation center with global influence, creating a source of artificial intelligence innovation in Shanghai, and building a new generation of national artificial intelligence development pilot zone”, the founding congress of Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Technology Association was held in Hongqiao Central Business District (CBD) on November 29, 2019.
Qiao Yongqing, vice president of Awinic, was invited to attend the conference as vice chairman of Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Technology Association. Awinic was awarded the nameplate and membership certificate of the Vice Presidential Unit of Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Technology Association. Min Shilin, party secretary of the Administration Committee of Shanghai Hongqiao Central Business District (CBD), Lu Min, Chief Engineer of the Science and Technology Commission Shanghai Municipality, Wu Zhiqiang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and key leaders of various relevant units and heads of business units attended the meeting.
Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Technology Association (SAITA) is a non-profit organization approved by the Science and Technology Commission Shanghai Municipality and Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau. The association aims to unite the Shanghai's artificial intelligence technology companies and related enterprises and institutions, to build an artificial intelligence ecosystem of industry-college-institute cooperation and build an artificial intelligence technical service platform with international influence to promote the development of Shanghai artificial intelligence technology and applications.
Qiao Yongqing said that the election of the vice-presidential unit of Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Technology Association is the recognition of Awinic by governments at all levels and industry peers. Awinic will continue to actively seize the development opportunities of “intelligent manufacturing in China”, absorb more talents, increase investment in R＆D, strengthen internal and external linkages and resource sharing in the industry, and contribute more to the goal of “intelligent manufacturing in China”.
